About Bentley Organic
Bentley Organic is a subsidiary of Thos.Bentley & Son Ltd, a company that was established in the 1800's making soap for the textile industry. The business is still run by the same family, on the same site in Leeds, England. Stephenson Group Limited, the largest subsidiary of Thos. Bentley & Son is one of the world’s leading specialty soap base producers.
The combined businesses have a turnover in excess of £18 million and employ 140 people, predominately in West Yorkshire, England. The business is entirely family owned and ship product throughout the world.
In 2000 the company achieved the Queens Award for Enterprise and is the only soap making plant in the world to have both the Soil Association Certification and the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard.
Bentley Organic combines the skills of the company to produce a new range of Soil Association Certified personal care products, developed and produced entirely in-house. This range of products is the first completely organic range to be launched in the UK and is based on years of technical expertise and manufacturing skill.
